Engagement Photoshoot

For my engagement photoshoot I wanted to feel like my best self.

The style that usually gets me there is a mix between sexy and edgy. But for this photoshoot I tried to capture a sweet vibe to it too.

My inspiration was a look I saw on one of my fashion icons -Sophia Bush at lollapalooza (a music festival in Chicago).

I liked how relaxed and care free it seemed. The added bonus too was that it was a wrap dress, which is one of my favorite dress styles. Who doesn't like a dress that moves with you and not against you?! I did want to feel bridal so I went with white to complete the dress look.

As for my jewelry, I love wearing gold with white. Something about it screams summer and I like how the color looks against my skin tone. The dainty layered necklace was a perfect choice for my deep v neck, paired with a gold and white bracelet to match from one of my favorite stores - Henri Bendel.

The shoes were a little challenging, but I ended up going with a two toned color - tan & cream. These complimented my dress and skin tone very well.

Overall I loved the look I achieved and definitely re-wore this dress!
