Maternity Shoot

I know I've been very bad about posting this summer and during this pregnancy, which I apologize for. Pregnancy has been a challenge for me and it's made me look at things differently. I've started to appreciate little moments to myself more and have felt myself emotionally evolving.

Right now I'm at a stage where I'm very excited to meet my little guy and feel him squirming and kicking throughout the day. He's so close yet so far, I can't wait to meet him. Between the baby shower and this photo shoot, the reality of having a baby finally feels real.

I'm glad I can share my maternity photo shoot finally! I will say I was not in the mood to do it but I'm so glad I did! If you are on the fence then definitely do a maternity shoot. If not for yourself now, do it for your future self. She'll be grateful. Also, I opted to have my husband join in and it made me love these photos so much more. I love getting to share moments with him. But don't worry I stole a few photos on my own too :)

I really loved my dress, so much so that I also wore it to the baby shower! Options feel so limited when looking for maternity wear but I didn't have too hard of a time finding a cute and comfortable dress. I got mine through Hautelook and it's a Rachel Pally dress (Midsummer Dress). Unfortunately its no longer sold but I've added a few similar dresses and some other Rachel Pally dresses that you might like below.

Also, my shoes were the tan Tory Burch miller sandals (linked below). You can't see them but I wanted to note that I have worn these shoes alllllllll summer! Even to work. They have held up so well and still have plenty of cushion for my swollen feet. If you have been on the fence on buying them, do it! They are a solid investment and really hold their value. I'm already planning to purchase another pair for next summer!
